Vanessa Hendren

Vanessa Hendren, Regional Compliance Manager, joined JDC Management Company in 2020. She began her career as a leasing consultant in affordable housing twenty-five years ago and later got into the compliance side of affordable housing. She has experience with the following affordable housing programs: Housing and Urban Development (HUD) project-based section 8, Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), Tax-Exempt Bonds, Housing Choice Voucher program, and HOME program.

Vanessa oversees the compliance of JDC’s properties located in South Carolina, Georgia, and Louisiana. She is responsible for quality control of LIHTC/HOME properties, including program file maintenance and training, audits, and compliance with government reporting requirements.

Vanessa is a South Carolina licensed property manager and holds the following certifications: Low Income Housing Tax Credit Compliance (TACCs), Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO), and Novogradac Property Compliance Certification (NPCC).
